Ethical Non-Monogamous Book Club

Exploring love, communication, and connection through community and conversation.

Relationships come in many forms, and every connection deserves respect, understanding, and honest communication. At PS It’s Counseling, our Ethical Non-Monogamous (ENM) Book Club offers a welcoming space for individuals and couples interested in exploring or practicing non-monogamy.

Through guided reading, open discussion, and supportive dialogue, the group helps participants deepen self-awareness, improve communication, and challenge social assumptions about love and partnershipβ€”all within a safe, judgment-free environment.

About the Ethical Non-Monogamous Book Club

The ENM Book Club is not about promoting any one lifestyleβ€”it’s about learning, reflection, and connection.
Members read selected books and articles that explore relationship diversity, emotional honesty, and personal growth. Each meeting provides an opportunity to discuss key themes, share perspectives, and explore how these ideas relate to individual experiences.

Facilitated by a licensed therapist, discussions are guided by empathy, respect, and curiosityβ€”encouraging participants to engage in thoughtful, nonjudgmental exploration of non-traditional relationship structures.

Love is not one-size-fits-all. Here, we celebrate the courage to define it authentically.

What to Expect

Each session of the ENM Book Club includes:

  • Guided discussions around selected readings on non-monogamy, communication, and consent.
  • A supportive environment to share experiences and insights.
  • Practical takeaways for building emotional intelligence and relational awareness.
  • Opportunities for self-reflection and connection with like-minded individuals.
  • Resources on navigating non-monogamous relationships with care and respect.

Participants are encouraged to read the selected material before meetings, but all levels of engagement are welcome.
